Magdalen Zinky is a writer, cultural worker, and parent based in East Tennessee. Her past day jobs include stints as a printing press operator, summer camp director, and train car tour guide. Currently she runs a cut flower farm with her mother-in-law and social media for the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation. Her writing has been published in Plane Tree Journal, Ariel Chart, Knack Magazine, and elsewhere, in addition to the weekly newsletter she maintains for the flower farm. In her spare time she hosts the podcast The 24 Hour Woman and does whatever kind of theatre is available, most recently costume design for Knoxville’s River and Rail Theatre Co. ’24-’25 season and an appearance as Lotty in Enchanted April with the Greeneville Theatre Guild.
